In June of 1995 Pussycat Lodge became the first approved Quarantine facility for domestic pets in New Zealand. We have available 6 individual and 9 large indoor pens for cats, the large pens can house up to four cats from the same family. All pf the parts are quiet, light and airy.
We recommend you book a good two to three months in advance as space does become booked out. We also ask that you give us plenty of notice to arrange medication and any special diets. The well being of your cats is our main concern. We have contracted the services of the Blockhouse Bay Veterinary Clinic who are on call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although strict quarantine procedures must be followed, we encourage owners to visit their cats. Visiting hours are 11:00 am to 3:00 pm 7 days a week. we are closed 25 April, 25-26 December and 1 January. You may bring additional bedding and toys, treats, etc to help them relax and enjoy their stay. |
